Brockworth Link

Brockworth Link is a registered charity (1100266) which runs a community library (asset transfer in 2012), youth provision in Brockworth, Coopers Edge and Churchdown as well as classes and activities for all ages.
We have been offering digital support to our Brockworth residents for a few years now and in 2022, we joined the Digital Hubs project.
We now provide drop in sessions during our library opening hours, helping our community with printing, scanning, applying for jobs online and more!
The Churn Project
The Churn Project, 14-16 The Waterloo, Cirencester, GL7 2PY
The Churn Project has been supporting the community in Cirencester and surrounding villages since 2001. Our aim is to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing, particularly for people who are lonely, at a point of crisis or transition in their lives.
We support over 1,500 people each year, especially focusing on older people, young families and those who are suffering from mental health, poor wellbeing and social isolation. We work with people to help find practical solutions to the issues they face We currently run over 26 groups and activities each week and our staff and volunteers devote hours of their time to support the people who come through our doors.
We have recognised the growing need for digital support in our community. We provide a mix of one-to-one support sessions for anyone who needs them. Plus, our Digital Champion Volunteers are supporting people in our groups to become more confident in accessing online services and apps.
Creative Sustainability

CS is a Community Interest Company set up in 2010 with a mission to create inclusive, resilient communities to support mental, emotional and physical health & wellbeing for all.
We began our digital service in 2019, working one-to-one to get people online and better use their digital devices to improve connection and access services and support. We joined the Digital Hubs project in 2022 and now provide digital support across community spaces around Stroud.
We train and support volunteer Digital Champions to provide regular drop-in sessions supporting people with digital skills. We also source and setup laptops and equipment for community use.
We have particular experience of working with elders, young people, job seekers, families and people who are often marginalised. We provide skills training and access to devices and SIM data. Read more about our digital inclusion work.
Forest Voluntary Action Forum (FVAF)

FVAF was formed in 1994 and has since developed a reputation for encouraging, embracing and enhancing community action throughout the Forest of Dean.
We believe that through community-led approaches we enable citizens to develop the skills resilience and social capital to live happier, better-connected lives.
We began helping people in communities with their digital skills in 2021 in response to COVID-19 lockdowns which identified a large digital divide within the county.
Our response came in the form of a community-based pilot in the rural village Bream. Here we supported people one-to-one and group settings to get people online and better use their digital devices to improve connection and access services and support. This success affirmed the need to roll out Digital Hubs across the Forest of Dean district which has since supported over 1000 people by offering free, accessible, tailored support to individuals.
FVAF subsequently led the expansion of the Hubs across Gloucestershire, leading to the formation of this DIGI Partnership.

GL11

GL11 Community Hub really is for everybody. Our aim is to bring people together and to help them make connections with each other. We believe that this will create a stronger community where everyone feels included.
We run a range of different activities and opportunities to learn and which are fun, inclusive and encourage friendship and support when you are facing problems. We run activities for residents of the GL11 postcode area which covers Cam, Dursley, Uley and North Nibley. We also run out-reach activities beyond GL11; we run a play group in Sharpness and we offer counselling for adults in Wotton-under-Edge and Berkeley. GL11 became involved in the Digi Hubs project in 2022 helping to support the Stroud District. We run regular digital support along with our Wednesday Cafe as well as offering outreach into our local community, offering equipment, support and friendship. We are delighted to work in partnership across both the district and county with our digital partners.

Gloucester Community Building Collective

Gloucester Community Building Collective was set up as a Community Interest Company in 2019 with the aim to make community connections to provide the best and most efficient help to individuals who find themselves disconnected from society.
At GCBC we work with people in Gloucester to encourage them to make meaningful connections with one another and in their communities, to discover and pursue their passions and interests, share their skills and to be valued for their contribution because we know this helps to build resilient and strong communities where everyone can thrive and have a good life.
We know that accessing the digital world can be a barrier for people wanting to connect within their communities in several ways. For that reason, we are committed to creating opportunities and connections that prevent digital exclusion and make a positive impact on the lives of those who live in Gloucester. Our strengths-based approach focuses on building connections and empowering individuals to take ownership of their digital experiences.
We are promoting digital literacy by tapping into the strengths and assets of the community. Rather than setting up a service, we are working with communities to help them develop their own digital hubs so that they can, in turn, support others in their community in a sustainable way.

Springbank Community Group
Ron Smith Pavilion, Springbank Way, Cheltenham, GL51 0LH
Springbank Community Group CiC is a community-led organisation based at the Ron Smith Pavilion in Springbank, Cheltenham. Established in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group has grown into a vital hub supporting residents across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury.
Our mission is to combat food poverty, reduce social isolation, and provide meaningful opportunities for children and young people. We operate a Community Food Pantry, a volunteer-run Community Café, and the Cheltenham Household Essentials Project (CHEP), ensuring access to affordable food and essential items for those in need. Our open-access youth programmes offer safe, engaging spaces that promote learning, creativity, and personal growth.
We are proud members of the Feed Cheltenham network and work closely with local authorities, schools, and partner organisations to deliver inclusive, community-driven services. With over 38,000 volunteer hours donated and more than 40,000 individuals supported, we remain committed to building a resilient, connected, and thriving community in Cheltenham.
Springbank Community Group joined the the Digi Hubs project in 2025.
